Found your blog thru the C2CPackhorse site. My husband and I are planning to hike the C2C in September and your account is so helpful – and solidified our thoughts about using Packhorse. Also going cross country in June to visit our daughter in Oregon and take in Mt. Ranier and Olympic NP – and enjoyed your details about those trips. Thank you for the time and effort it must take to write these. They are so well done – a perfect blend of inspiring and practical. Hopefully when we retire (soon) we’ll be following in more of your footsteps!

Thank you so much for the kind words about the blog. We are so happy you are finding it helpful. It is a lot of work putting it all together but so worth it for when we get feedback like yours, and for when we want to revisit our travels. If you have any questions about any adventure, please just ask. Have a great time this June. If you think of it we’d love to hear your thoughts on the C2C later this year…that will truly be a spectacular adventure…enjoy! -Dean and Emilie-

Glad you visited the blog, Tina! Been very busy moving to Michigan but am starting to piece the Iceland trip together. So, hopefully soon. I will let you all know when it’s up. Hope all is well and you’re enjoying the last of summer!

Glad you have returned to South Haven, MI and are looking forward to replacing Ann and John Springgate in your future adventures

Good to meet you, Scott, but your cousins are irreplaceable. Would look forward to your joining us on our next Backroads adventure! Meantime, some South Haven down time!

Hi Morag! I see you got our Christmas card. We were glad to have met you during our UK adventure. Meeting you, Graham and Brian, visiting your home, and touring Straith Farm was one of our favorite stops. We still tell the story of how we actually found you without any address other than Straith Farm. It was an incredible trip for us. We hope you had a great Christmas, and we wish you all a Happy New Year!
